Dr. Joanne Pisciotta earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the Long Island Au.D. Consortium, consisting of St. John's, Adelphi, and Hofstra Universities. Her undergraduate studies at St. John's University earned her a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Bachelor's degree in Italian. She is licensed to practice Audiology in New York State and also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
Dr. Pisciotta gained experience with a wide variety of audiological procedures and protocols in multiple clinical settings. Her clinical rotations included private practices, ENT settings, and hospitals. She has experience with pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, newborn hearing screenings, hearing aids, and specialty testing, such as electrophysiologic and balance testing.
