Henry de Blasi

Henry de Blasi, M.D. is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist, Head & Neck Surgeon that has been in practice since 1995.

Dr. de Blasi graduated New York Medical College. He then went on to do two years of general surgery training at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City , followed by a four year residency in otolaryngology (ear, nose, throat/head & neck surgery) at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. His training included all aspects of micro ear surgery, endoscopic sinus and nasal surgery, head / neck pathology and oncology, swallowing and balance disorders as well as facial plastic surgery. Dr. de Blasi has a special interest and extensive training in pediatric otolaryngology, allergy and sleep medicine. He has been doing balloon sinus surgery since its inception nine years ago and is expertly skilled in office balloon sinus dilation. Dr. de Blasi also uses Propel ™ sinus implants after sinus surgeries. This has proved to significantly help patient with nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis.

Dr. de Blasi has written and coauthored multiple research papers, and has been involved in teaching otolaryngology residents and medical students throughout his career.

Dr. de Blasi is a diplomat of The American Board of Otolaryngology, The Long Island Society of Otolaryngology, The American Medical Association, The New York Medical Society and the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society.

Dr. de Blasi is currently chief of Otolaryngology at St. Joseph Hospital. He is also an active member of the medical staff at Mercy Medical Center, Winthrop University Hospital and North Shore University Hospital at Plainview
